Safety Interlocking Company Introduces New Intuitive EH Handle


Fortress Interlocks has introduced a safety EH door Handle as part of its amGard range of safety interlocks. The stainless steel EH Handle is used in conjunction with Fortress' actuator head and is designed to be intuitive with a 90° rotating handle that can be used on either left or right handing doors.

The EH Handle offers an escape release option as standard, ensuring the safety of operators at all times. It also has lock-out features and can support up to four padlocks with a shackle diameter of 8mm.

Cased in stainless steel or zinc alloy depending on the application the EH Handle is easily installed or retrofitted, accommodating differing door thicknesses and a misalignment allowance of ±12 mm.

Fortress Interlocks has specially designed the EH Handle to be discreet and particularly useful for applications using small radius hinged doors in harsh environments. The EH Handle forms part of the amGard range of safety interlocks, a modular, heavy duty interlocking range that provides both safety and security by controlling access to dangerous machinery and safeguarding personnel. A variety of actuators and adaptable mounting arrangements helps sustain a long life cycle and minimises downtime.
