Frommelt® Safety Products-division of Rite-Hite Doors, Milwaukee, Wis., has introduced the Enviro Saf-T-Cell(TM), the first standardized safety cell enclosure with an integral air filtration system designed for robotics, metal forming/fabrication, welding, printing, manufacturing, assembly, and other potential occupationally hazardous processes.
Because it uses regularly-stocked, off-the-shelf components packaged in an unlimited number of sizes, the Enviro Saf-T-Cell is the industry's best-priced safety enclosure and is up to 50 percent less than competitive models. The Enviro Saf-T-Cell is UL approved, meets flame propagation requirements of NFPA-701, and complies with barrier standards of ANSI/RIA-1506.
The Enviro Saf-T-Cell not only limits access to peripheral employees, but also protects them and neighboring machinery from flying debris, weld flash, machine noise, and toxic fumes, thus making it the perfect safety environment.
Additional safety features also include the lightweight, top-mounted fume collecting hood system designed to protect employees from harmful inhalations by collecting airborne particulates and contaminants with pre-filters and bag filters.
Hearing loss dangers are also minimized with sound attenuating panels capable of significant machinery noise reductions.
Other features include:
o Guardian(TM) automated, fabric roll-up door with safe, low-impact soft bottom edge and patented Category 4 non-contact interlock switch safety features that disconnect power if the door is breached.
