June 19, 2009 - Rated at 8 A at 240 Vac and 8 A at 30 Vdc, Model MCSB2101 USB controlled high current relays can have 2 optional IO configurations. Configuration options available are: 8 bit Digital IO, 8 bit Darlington output drivers, 8 bit differential input or output, or 4 channels of ADC input. Digital IO is 3.3 V (LVTTL) and is 5 V tolerant, while differential IO can support either 0-5 V or -15 to 15 V common mode. Darlington outputs can drive 30 V at 200 ma/channel.

USB 8 Amp SPDT Relays with Multi Function IO Options


Granada Hills, CALIFORNIA, June 12, 2009.

J-Works has started shipping Model MCSB2101 USB controlled high current relays (8 amp) with optional digital and/or ADC inputs. The module can have 2 optional IO configurations. Each of the configuration options can be any of the following: 8 bit Digital IO, 8 bit Darlington output drivers, 8 bit differential input or output, or 4 channels of ADC input. Digital IO is 3.3v (LVTTL) and is 5V Tolerant. Differential IO can support either 0 to 5V or -15V to 15V common mode. Darlington outputs can drive 30V @ 200ma per channel. ADC's have 12 or 16 bit resolution with a -5V to +5V input range and PGA. Relays are rated at 8 Amps @ 240VAC, 8 Amps @ 30VDC. User can mix and match to meet various control requirements with a single module. Complete Windows support is provided via DLL or Class Library. Various programming languages source samples are provided. Optional Linux support disk is available. High quality screw type terminal block connectors allow quick hook-up to the relays.
