Hertzler Systems Releases Latest Update to Popular Gainseeker Suite
Hertzler Systems today announced the release of the newest version of GainSeeker Suite software for Statistical Process Control. The new version, GainSeeker Suite 7.7, incorporates dozens of new features and enhancements designed to improve data visibility and improve ease of use.
Goshen, IN, June 2, 2008- Hertzler Systems Inc., a leading provider of real-time data acquisition and analytics software, has just released GainSeeker Suite Version 7.7. The new version enhances the product's Enterprise Dashboard module and expands capabilities for analyzing and reporting data.
Tom Albrecht, Vice President of Business Development, reports that the new version adds several frequently-requested features. "Since we released Enterprise Dashboard last year," he said, "several customers have asked for greater control of Dashboards. The new release answered those needs."
He also notes that the new X/MR/R chart is a response to customer requests. "Over the years we've had numerous requests for the same chart, even though people have different names for it. Some call it a Moving Average - Moving Range Chart, others the Within / Between chart, and still others the 3D chart. It is a nice addition to the Short Run SPC capabilities of GainSeeker Suite."
Byron Shetler, Hertzler's Chief Technology Officer, notes that the new version provides a wiki-like collaboration tool to help staff work together. "We added a new feature for attaching and editing notes to a series of desktops or standard retrievals," he said. "This makes it much easier for teams to communicate and work together to solve problems."
Shetler also noted that the new version adds support for MySQL. "MySQL is an OpenSource database that provides great performance at no cost," he said. "Some customers like 'Free'."
