Measuring 10 x 16 x 4.2 mm , LD-300A has output current limit of 300 mA, while LD-600A measures 12 x 20 x 5.5 mm and can drive maximum of 600 mA with input voltage of 8-28 Vdc. Capable of operating up to six 1 W LEDs at 24 V input, drivers work with multiple high power/high bright LEDs, and regulate constant current with variable input voltages. RoHS compliant units suit LCD backlighting, display/sign lighting, and accent and task lighting applications.

Surface Mount LED Drivers LD-300A & LD-600A
PACOIMA, CA (May 13, 2009) -- JKL Components Corporation, a leading lighting technology provider, announces the LD-300A and LD-600A drivers for use with LEDs with surface mount design. Offering excellent efficiency with a small footprint (10 x 16mm for the LD-300A and 12 x 20mm for the LD-600A), these drivers are designed to work with multiple high power/ high bright LEDs, and regulate a constant current with variable input voltages. The LD-300A has the smallest profile at 4.2mm height, with an output current limit of 300mA. The LD-600A driver can drive a maximum of 600mA with an input voltage of 8 to 28 Volts DC, and has a profile of 5.5mm high. Capable of operating up to six 1-Watt LEDs (at 24V input) the LD series meets the requirements for LCD backlighting, display/sign lighting, accent and task lighting as well as specialty applications. Both drivers have PWM capability for dimming control, are RoHS compliant and permit designers to save energy and minimize heat in new product developments.
