Littelfuse Introduces 441 Series 0603 size High I2t Surface Mount Ceramic Fuse with Ultra High In-rush Current Withstand Capability

The new fuse series offers superior electrical performance and stability for environment up to 150OC.

CHICAGO, Illinois - Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ/NGS:LFUS), today introduced the 441 Series surface mount 0603 size high I2t surface mount fuse for circuits that require high working ambient temperatures and high inrush currents.

With its fast response characteristic and its high operating temperature capability up to 150OC, the 441 Series makes possible the DC circuit well-protected when over-current occurs even at ultra high temperature conditions.

The 441 series has the highest inrush current withstand (I2t) ratings up to 2.6A2s (6A current rating) for eliminating nuisance fuse open during momentary overload conditions. It is with excellent electrical stability and reliability.

The 441 Series is with UL approval and is pending for CSA approval. It has a broad line of current ratings from 2A to 6A (32VDC) for meeting different application needs. Current ratings from 250mA to 1.75A is coming soon.

Each fuse has a maximum fault current rating (Interrupt Rating) of 50A at the rated voltage and is 100% Lead-free, Halide-free, and compliant to RoHS requirements.

It is designed particularly for protecting DC over-current conditions of a wide range of end application at high operating temperature including inverters of LCD TVs, LCD monitors, LED TVs, LED monitors, notebook computers, hard disk drives, XDSL modems, set-top boxes, Li-ion battery packs and gaming consoles.
