December 16, 2013 - Providing -170 dBc/Hz noise floor at 1 MHz offset, CCSS-945 True SineWave Clock Oscillator (XO) generates frequencies from 10–125 MHz with output level of +5 dBm min into 50 Ω and harmonics lower than -25 dBc. Close-in phase noise performance is -105 dBc/Hz typ at 10 Hz offset. Supplied in 9 x 14 mm SMD package, product is engineered to MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-202 specifications, consumes 30 mA max @ 5.0 V, and has no sub-harmonics. Extended operating range -40 to +85°C is available.

New SMD True SineWave Clock Oscillator from Crystek Provides High Frequency and Ultra Low Phase Noise Floor Performance

Fort Myers, FL – Crystek Crystals Corporation has launched the CCSS-945 – a True SineWave Clock Oscillator (XO) providing -170 dBc/Hz noise floor at 1 MHz offset.  The close-in phase noise performance is an industry-leading -105 dBc/Hz typical at 10 Hz offset. This high-performance clock oscillator is available in the industry standard 9x14mm SMD package and is engineered to MIL-STD-883 and MIL-STD-202 specifications.

The CCSS-945 Clock Oscillator generates frequencies between 10 MHz and 125 MHz, with output level of +5 dBm min into 50 Ohms and harmonics lower than -25dBc. The CCSS-945 consumes 30 mA max. current @ 5.0 volts and has no sub-harmonics.

The CCSS-945 is ideal for applications requiring ultra-low noise performance similar to more expensive OCXO crystal oscillators. Extended temperature operating range of -40°C to +85°C and other custom specifications are also available.
