April 10, 2009 - Operating at 2,780 MHz with tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc, Model CRO2781A-LF features typical tuning sensitivity of 9 MHz/V. Unit delivers output power of 7.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 19 mA over temperature range of -40 to 85°C. Housed in MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.22 in., RoHS-compliant oscillator features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -18 dBc and is suited for microwave radio and satellite communication applications.

VCO: CRO2781A-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise


Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO2781A-LF in S-band. The CRO2781A-LF operates at 2780 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 9 MHz/V.

The CRO2781A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 7.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 19 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -18 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI-16 package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO2781A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
