Respectively able to accept 2 and 3 in. wide media rolls with up to 2 in. dia for printing receipts and labels, CMP-20 and CMP-30 are powered by Li-Ion batteries and feature drop-in paper loading. Feed paths eliminate risk of tangling/jamming, and integral tear bar cuts paper to required length. Printers also support magnetic stripe reader and IC-card (chip card) reader option.

Citizen Introduces Compact and Robust, Truly Portable Printers
Citizen Systems Europe, the leading manufacturer of label, barcode, portable and POS printers, has launched its latest generation of truly mobile printers that have been developed to provide compact and robust printing virtually anywhere. The CMP-20 and CMP-30 are quick and simple to use and save time and reduce errors when printing a wide range of receipts and labels, such as mobile receipts, tickets, price markdowns and delivery slips, allowing you to see a greater return on your investment.
The high performance printers have a number of revolutionary features that make them simple and fast to use for a diverse range of applications. For instance, the devices have been designed to provide quick and easy media change over with drop-in paper loading and paper out indicators, while simple feed paths eliminate the risk of tangling or jamming. These innovative elements help to improve efficiency considerably and reduce the risk of human error in warehousing and logistics applications, with staff then being free to focus on more important tasks. The printers also feature an integral tear bar to cut paper to the required length and there is the option to include a magnetic stripe reader and IC-card (chip card) reader for retail applications.
The CMP-20 accepts two-inch wide media rolls and the CMP-30 accepts three-inch wide rolls with diameters of 2 inches allowing for long print runs without the need for frequent media changes, while the media window allows users to view the amount of remaining paper. In addition, the high capacity Lithium Ion batteries and easy to change power modules allow for day-long operation, while the robust construction of the units means they can withstand being dropped from up to 1.2m.
Citizen's CMP printers come with an AC adapter to recharge batteries onboard the printer or via an external charging station. Additionally, the printers include Windows drivers and software development toolkits as standard to ensure compatibility with a wide range of application platforms.
