Product has front and rear mounting options and comes with blue or yellow LEDs for standard illumination. It is IP67 protected against ingress of water, oil, and dirt and has IK09 (10 J) rating to resist impact. Keypad suits indoor or outdoor applications in access control systems, ticketing machines, telephone systems, and payment terminals.

of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Components and Systems, announces a new range of robust plastic keypads with their new S Series Lite, which simulates EAO's internationally recognized metal S Series. The S Series Lite is ideal for use indoor or outdoor, particularly in access control systems, ticketing machines, telephone systems, payment terminals, and vending equipment.
With the look and durability of metal, EAO's S Series Lite keypads are made from an extremely rugged Polycarbonate (PC) plastic. A simulated matte chrome finish, which is scratch-resistant to ensure long-lasting appearance, gives this series the look of a heavyweight keypad without the expense of metal. When mounted, it is also protected to IP67 requirements against the ingress of water, oil, and dirt and is impact resistant to an IK09 (10 joule) rating; so it remains reliable even when exposed to severe weather. The keypads have either front or rear mounting options, and connect through an external pin-header connection.
The S Series Lite offers a variety of design options, including laser etching for a multitude of legend characters, ensuring the marking remains sharp for many years. Standard illumination is produced by either blue or yellow LEDs. Other colors (red, green, orange, and white) are optional. Illumination is visible either through or around the legend. High-quality illumination results in easily recognizable and visibly defined legends, especially in low-light conditions. Several layouts are possible within the two standard sizes, 12-key telephone or 16-key hexadecimal.
