Based on Intel® Core(TM) i7 CPU and Intel QM57 chipset, EPS-QM57 supports up to 8 GB DDR3 memory and offers variety of I/O: one CFast socket, SATA, VGA, LVDS, LPT, and SIM card as well as 2 Gigabit LAN, 8 COM, 6 USB, and 2 PCI interfaces. Fanless system, operational from -14 to +131°F, supports +9 to 30 V input and also offers 8-/16-bit GPIO as well as anti-interference capability. Vibration- and shock-resistant computer is protected against overload and short circuit conditions.

Avalue Launches EPS-QM57 Rugged Embedded System
Taipei, Taiwan - The industrial computer professional, Avalue Technology (TAIEX: 3479-TW), an Associate member of the Intel® Embedded Alliance. Recently released a series of new rugged embedded system, EPS-QM57, which is ideal for a wide range of applications.
The EPS-QM57 is equipped with the Intel® Core(TM) i7 processor with the Intel® QM57 chipset, which has a low power consumption and is very energy-efficient. It supports up to 8GB DDR3 Memory with a variety of I/O interfaces. The EPS-QM57 comes with 1 x CFast socket, 2 x Gigabit LAN, 1 x SATA, 1 x VGA, 1 x LVDS, 8 x COM Ports, 6 x USB Ports, 1 x LPT, 2 x PCI Slots, 1 x SIM Card Interface and 8-bit/16-bit GPIO. Users may connect different devices as needed on demand.
EPS-QM57's fanless design reduces power and increases reliability. It withstands industrial operation environments for temperatures between -14~131°F (-10~55°C). It also supports a +9~30V wide voltage input, with anti-interference capability and protects computer from overload short circuitswhich allows the computer to run safely over a long period even in harsh conditions. Product reliability and stability are certified by industrial product quality tests, including anti-vibration (continuous vibrations) of up to 5 Grms, and anti-shock of up to 50 Grms tests.
The chassis is very easy to maintain and integrate. There is an access panel on the bottom side to allow for easy installation of storage drives and memory. The design and placement of the internal motherboard allows for minimal cabling needed lowering the number of connections and points of possible failures. In addition, the optional table mount bracket can follow the mounting location using the elasticity of demand.
The EPS-QM57, can support Operating Systems such as: Linux, Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, Windows XP and Windows 7. The product is designed to meet the needs of the following markets: factory automation, navigation, vehicle, transportation systems, communication systems and automation.
