Supplied in standard 94 x 48 x 160 mm vented, chassis-mount enclosure or optional open-frame format, DCW 30R Series outputs 30 W and operate over -25 to +70°C cold-plate temperature range without derating. Nominal input options are 24, 48, 72, 96, and 110 Vdc, while standard outputs include 12, 24, 48, or 110 V. Featuring 3 kVdc input to output isolation, modules meet all relevant railway standards and are cooled via baseplate to heatsinking surface and by natural convection.

30W, Rugged DC/DC Converter Modules Target Railway Applications
The DCW 30R Series rugged, railway quality DC/DC converter modules deliver 30W output power. They meet all relevant railway standards including EN 50155, EN50121-3-2 conducted and radiated EMI, EN 55022 Class B, and EN 61000 immunity.
The modules offer nominal input voltage options of 24V, 48V, 72V, 96V or 110V dc with wide input ranges (EN 50155). Standard outputs include 12V, 24V, 48V or 110V. Other input and output voltages are available on request.
The DCW 30R units operate over a -25°C to +70°C cold-plate temperature range without derating. Cooling is via baseplate to a heatsinking surface and by natural convection. They are housed in a compact 94 x 48 x 160 mm vented chassis mount enclosure, and weigh 550g. These converters are also available in open-frame format. The DCW 30R modules are ruggedized and conformal coated for immunity to shock, vibration and moisture.
The DCW 30R units have 3kVdc input to output isolation, inrush current limiting and reverse polarity protection at the input. Over-voltage protection, over-current, short circuit and thermal protection are standard.
The DCW 30R units are priced under C$100 each at quantities, depending on options required.
