Product includes stainless-steel 6 mm tapped shaft and, utilizing gold plated contacts and nickel-plated bushing, performs minimum of 10,000 rotational cycles. Available in 2-16 positions, rugged switch offers up to 4 Ncm switching torque and operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C.

New Coded Switch from Elma for Rugged Applications
FREMONT, California - Elma Electronic, a leading designer and manufacturer of rotary switches and components, now offers a rugged version of its Type 07 line of coded switches. The new M07A is designed for use in rugged military/aerospace, portable medical, industrial automation, vision/imaging, and mobile PC applications.
Elma's M07A is a gray coded switch that comes in 16 positions down to 2. BCD or Hex versions are available upon request. Based on Elma's renowned Type 07 switch line, the rugged M07A has a robust stainless-steel 6mm tapped shaft (3mm versions optional). It meets MIL-STD-810F for salt fog and humidity and MIL-STD-202G for shock and vibration. The M07A also features a high-strength re-enforced plastic body and IP60 or IP68 front panel sealing, at the customer's request.
The versatile M07A is offered in THT or reflow (upon request) versions and with an end-stop design or endlessly rotating. It also allows various position and coding choices, shaft styles and lengths, as well as customization options. Utilizing gold plated contacts and a nickel-plated bushing, this long life switch performs a minimum of 10,000 rotational cycles. A rotational cycle is specified as a complete rotation from position 1 to the last position, and back again. It has up to 4 Ncm switching torque and the operating temperature range is -40 to +85 degrees C.
