Innovative RA-10 Roundtest Combines High-Performance, Outstanding Value

The instrument brings together comprehensive measurement capabilities, high accuracy and intuitive operation, and is priced for outstanding value. With high throughput and a compact footprint, the Mitutoyo RA-10 Roundtest is ideal for manufacturers requiring inspection of small, cylindrical workpieces in the lab or for high volume inspection on the production floor.
The Mitutoyo RA-10 features a large, easy to understand touch-panel control and high visibility LCD display - reducing the chance for error when inputting or reading out. Operation is simplified, with functions such as One-Stroke Recall (which stores measurement steps in advance for recalling via a single keystroke), and the Zero-Set function (which enables the detector's level to be zeroed-out with one key press eliminating the need for the operator to re-position the detector). Additional conveniences include an X-axis stopper and a Z-axis scale unit. Measurement data can printed from the built-in printer, output via RS232C or SPC ports, or stored to external memory through a USB port.
The RA-10 has a maximum probing height of 5.98" (152mm), a maximum probing depth of 3.94" (100mm) with a maximum vertical (Z-axis) travel of 4.61" (117mm) and a maximum horizontal (X-axis) travel of 2.95" (75mm) including a protrusion of 1" (25mm) for turntable rotation center. With its built-in processor and printer, the RA-10 has a compact footprint, making it convenient to locate.
The Mitutoyo RA-10 Roundtest utilizes set-up jigs to simplify, and speed workpiece positioning. The need for centering and horizontal alignment when setting a workpiece can often be eliminated, improving the efficiency of repetitive measurement. Equipped with an air bearing rotary table, the RA-10 has a rotational accuracy of (0.04+6H/10000) µm - the highest in its class - and equivalent to much higher priced models. A wide variety of optional auxiliary tables are available.
