Designed with silicone rubber actuator and snap-fit mounting, single-pole KC Series and double-pole KD Series comply with IP56 standards and are suitable for applications requiring resistance to dust and water intrusion. Both types use heavy-duty silver alloy contacts to achieve current ratings of 20 A at 14 Vdc and 16 A at 125 Vac. Available in lighted and non-lighted designs, switches fit industry-standard panel cut-out of 20.2 mm in diameter.

Cherry Introduces Two New Series Of Round, Water-Resistant Rocker Switches
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI. - Cherry Electrical Products has introduced their new KC and KD Series of round, water-resistant rocker switches. Designed with a silicone rubber actuator and snap-fit mounting, each switch complies with IP56 standards and is suitable for applications requiring resistance to dust and water intrusion, such as outdoor power equipment, commercial appliances, and medical equipment.
Both the single-pole KC Series and the double-pole KD Series use heavy-duty silver alloy contacts to achieve current ratings of 20 amps at 14 VDC and 16 amps at 125 VAC. The switches fit an industry-standard panel cut-out of 20.2mm dia. and are available in lighted and non-lighted designs. The standard termination is 0.187" (4.8mm) quick-connect tabs. The KC Series also offers 0.173" (4.4mm) diameter solder tabs and PC through-hole straight termination options.
The Cherry KD Series water-resistant rocker switch is UL approved on AC loads. The KC Series is UL and VDE approved on AC loads. Both series are available from stock through Cherry authorized distributors.
