The 5000ASM Series Rotary Union Excels in Abrasive Applications and Reduces Maintenance Costs

Charlotte, NC - Duff Norton offers the 5000ASM Series Rotary Union® for highly abrasive fluid applications. Rotary Unions or rotating joints are designed to provide a rotating seal between fluids and a revolving roll or drum. Commonly conducted media are water, hot oils, steam, chemicals, and air.

The ASM seal is a tungsten carbide face ring against a siliconized graphite seal ring, offering unsurpassed protection against grooving in applications where other materials fail.

The fluorocarbon O-rings and two precision bearings keep the 5000 series seal faces perfectly aligned. All sizes can be adapted to dual flow applications with the addition of a stainless steel elbow. Operating parameters range up to 395°, 750 psi, and 3600 RPM for various models. Sizes range from 1/4" to 2".
