Low Maintenance, High Impact Rotary Tank Cleaner

Effective clean-in-place (CIP) tank cleaning is essential in many industries especially those in the food, brewing, beverage, dairy and pharmaceuticals. The new HydroWhirl(TM) Orbitor tank cleaning machine is designed to meet the exacting cleaning and hygienic standards in these industries and offers some important features and benefits.

Available from nozzle specialists BETE Ltd the innovative HydroWhirl device is designed for simple and versatile operation along with extended operating life and reduced life-cycle costs. Thanks to its minimum number of moving parts it can be completely stripped and rebuilt ON-SITE in less than 15 minutes. This optimum serviceability eliminates the time-consuming maintenance overhauls associated with other types of rotary tank cleaning devices, which in some cases require a return to the factory for refurbishment.

HydroWhirl is also self-cleaning and self-lubricating so the possibility of process contamination is eliminated, while its compact design allows it to be fitted through small, restricted access flanges. It is ideal for large tanks (up to 130ft in diameter) often found in the food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical industries where superior cleaning with reduced cycle times and low water, energy and chemical consumption, are important considerations.

The range includes ten standard models and options include 2 or 4 nozzles, variable cycle times, male and female connections, 360° wash pattern, 180° down and up wash patterns.

Typical applications include food and dairy for raw milk storage, spray driers, process and storage vessels, beverage and brewing, for process vessels, bright beer tanks, coppers and maltings and in chemicals, coatings and paints manufacture, for process and storage silos and mixers.
