Rotary Screw Compressors suit tight workshop environments.

Press Release Summary:

Occupying 0.67 m² footprint suited for space-constricted environments, SK 21 and SK 24 operate at noise levels of 64 or 65 dB(A) and produce free-air delivery of 1.8 or 2.2 m³/min at 8 bar. Compressors incorporate 11 or 15 kW CEMEP EFF1 motor and feature flow-optimised Sigma Profile airend. While V-belt drive design features automatic tensioning device that ensures constant and efficient power transmission, cooling system enables low compressed air discharge temperatures.

High-Efficiency Compressed Air Production Up to 15 kW

KAESER presents the new SK 21 and SK 24 rotary screw compressors

The new SK21 and SK24 rotary screw compressors from KAESER operate quietly and efficiently to provide a reliable source of quality compressed air. With a footprint of only 0.67m², the compact SK series is the perfect choice for workshops and industrial environments where space is at a premium. Producing a free-air delivery of 1.8m³/min or 2.2m³/min at 8 bar and equipped with an 11kW/ 15kW drive motor, both standard versions have low noise levels of only 64 or 65dB(A). Highly effective sound insulation and low airend speeds contribute to making the SK21 and SK24 'quieter than quiet', which means they can be installed in close proximity to the work area.

Offering all the advantages of modern rotary screw compressor technology, both models feature a flow optimised "Sigma Profile" airend and a CEMEP EFF1 motor to guarantee excellent specific power with high energy efficiency. The SK compressors' V-belt drive design features an automatic tensioning device that extends belt life, ensures constant, efficient power transmission and considerably reduces the need for maintenance.

Furthermore, a highly effective cooling system enables low compressed air discharge temperatures, consequently reducing power consumption of any downstream air treatment equipment. Every SK compressor model is service-friendly, as all filters are easily accessible and simple to change from the front of the unit. An observation window in the compressor cabinet makes fluid level inspection possible even when the unit is in operation.

The internal 'SIGMA CONTROL' compressor controller continuously adjusts compressor power to match compressed air demand enabling optimum en-ergy consumption. The very latest monitoring and communication technology ensures outstanding reliability with reduced maintenance costs and even al-lows system access via KAESER's Teleservice facility. The intuitive user-friendly interface enables easy on-site operation through its clearly structured command menus and can now show all information in 30 languages at just the press of a button.

Space saving, energy efficient compressed air generation and treatment is possible by selecting the SK21 or SK24 refrigeration dryer module option. Easy to maintain and equipped with a corrosion-proof stainless-steel plate heat exchanger, the dryer operates with minimal pressure drop and is contained in its own separate cabinet within the unit to prevent exposure to heat from the compressor package. For applications with fluctuating compressed air demand, the SK 21 compressor package is also available with a KAESER 'SFC' automatic frequency control module and can be delivered with or without integrated refrigeration dryer.

User-friendly and easy to maintain: The new SK21 and SK24 rotary screw compressors from KAESER operate quietly and efficiently to provide a dependable source of quality compressed air.
