Makita’s New 1 Inch Rotary Hammer With Efficient Dust Collection
June 16, 2005 – LA MIRADA, CALIF. – Makita USA, Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories is proud to announce the launch of the new HR2432 1” Rotary Hammer with dust collector. This new rotary hammer is not only powerful at 6.7 AMPS and 1.6 ft.lbs. of impact energy, it’s remarkably lightweight at only 6.6 lbs. for continuous operation. With 0 – 1,000 RPM and 0 – 4,500 BPM, the HR2432 is well-matched for the most demanding applications.
Model HR2432 features a built-in dust collection system with a large dust bag and enlarged fan making it three times more efficient at collecting dust and debris. This new hammer also has a durable, in-line dust collection hose designed with an elbow-shaped nozzle for a clear view of the application. With this efficient dust collection system, the HR2432 is the ideal rotary hammer for interior and overhead applications.
The HR2432 is equipped with a 3-mode operation switch for “rotation,” “hammering with rotation,” and “hammering only.” Optimum chisel positioning is accomplished with a 360 adjustable chuck with 40 different locking positions. A positive bit lock ensures that the bit is securely fastened. The ergonomic and well-balanced design of the HR2432 features a rubberized pistol grip for greater stability, comfort and control with reduced operator fatigue.
Other unique features of this new 1” rotary hammer include a built-in torque limiter to ensure stable drilling, a one-touch sliding SDS chuck for easy bit changes, a recessed lock-on button for continuous use, and a large trigger switch for operator convenience.
