With supply voltage of 4.75–28 Vdc, ZB Series Rotary Pulse Generators deliver 1,000 PPR for precision counting or speed measurement. AU-ZBG models have single channel for counting, unidirectional measuring, or speed applications, while AU-ZBH models are for quadrature applications, allowing for counting up and down as well as speed and direction measurements. Using conversion bracket, industrial duty shaft encoders can be converted into length measuring sensors.

Omega introduces its new series of shaft encoders. The ZB series of shaft encoders are general duty industrial rotary pulse generators with up to 1000 PPR for high-resolution precision counting or speed measurement. The AU-ZBG models have a single channel for counting, unidirectional measuring or speed applications. The AU-ZBH models are for quadrature applications, allowing for counting up and down along with speed and direction measurements. A conversion bracket is available to easily convert this encoder into a length measuring sensor. Ideal for food industries, medical and industrial manufacturing. Applications include industrial feeders, industrial wire manufacturing and conveyor ovens.
