January 10, 2012 - Offering choice of 4, 6, 8, 10, or 16 positions, RDT Series features contact rating of 42 Vdc, contact resistance of 80 mW, and insulation resistance of 100 MW. Switch provides through hole or SMT termination with operating temperatures of -40 to 85°C and -60 to 125°C, respectively. Available with right angle or vertical mounting options, switch has life expectancy of 10,000 steps.

The RDT Series Rotary DIP Switch Offers IP67 Seal Protection and 5 Position Options


MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- E-Switch announces the RDT series rotary DIP switch. This small switch offers a choice of 4, 6, 8, 10 or 16 positions. It offers IP67 sealing protection for applications that need protection from the elements. The RDT series DIP switch also comes with SMT or thru hole option termination options, and right angle or vertical mounting options. This switch comes in your choice of tape & reel or tube packaging and has gold contacts.

Specifications include:

o Life Expectancy: 10,000 steps

o Contact Rating:

Switching: 42VDC, 150mA

Non-switching: 42VDC, 200mA

o Contact Resistance (Initial Max): 80mW

o Insulation Resistance: 100 MW min at 250VDC

o Dielectric Strength: >250 VAC

o Operating Temperature:

-40°C to 85°C (thru hole)

-60°C to 125°C (SMT)

o Actuation Force: 700 gf
