June 17, 2002 - Flexible tip rotary airlock provides air seal in dust collection and pneumatic conveying applications. It allows larger particles to pass through valve while maintaining air seal. The unit is suited for wood and other fibrous dust applications. Valve has reinforced rubber vane tips, stiffened housing, and roller chain drive with heavy duty gear reducer and standard TEFC motor.

Scientific Dust Collectors Announces Their New Flexible Tip Rotary Airlock
ALSIP, ILLINOIS - Scientific Dust Collectors has just announced the introduction of its heavy-duty flexible tip rotary airlock. The unit is designed to provide a flexible air seal, allowing larger particles to easily pass through the valve while maintaining its air seal. The unit is ideally suited for wood and other fibrous dust applications. The valve is supplied with reinforced rubber vane tips, a stiffened housing, as well as a roller chain drive with a heavy duty gear reducer and standard TEFC motor. The airlock allows for continuous operation in both dust collection and pneumatic conveying applications.
