May 6, 2009 - Accommodating various tools and parts, 61-91 G series robots feature strip forward design of up to 600 mm that prevents interference of strip stoke with machine hoppers, feeders, and blenders. It includes beam-mounted control cabinet, minimizing floor space, as well as SCP control pendant with touchscreen for simplified programming and 3-position safety switch allowing left- or right-handed operation. Units also include digital AC servos with encoders on 3 axes.

New Sytrama G Series Robots Available


Ideal for Smaller Machines

(Dri-Air Industries, Inc., East Windsor, CT March 2009) -Sytrama has re-designed their popular G series robots to suit smaller (40 - 300 ton) Injection Molding machines, opening up a wide range of applications.

The 61 - 91 G series robots feature a strip forward design that prevents interference of the strip stoke with machine hoppers, feeders, blenders etc. With its strip forward design of up to 600 mm the new G series can accommodate a wide variety of tools and parts.

To reduce the clutter around the press, the new robots also feature a beam mounted control cabinet saving valuable floor space. The easy to use SCP control pendant has a large color touch screen for simplified programming, left or right-handed operation with a three-position safety switch, built in ready to use programs and more.

While it has a new space saving design it's still packed with big features:

  • Digital AC Servos with encoders on three axes

  • One Vacuum & One Pressure circuit each with part detection

  • 12 spare inputs and outputs

  • EOAT Quick disconnects for all electrical & pneumatic connections

  • High Torque 90 Degree Wrist Flip (C-Axes) - pneumatically driven

  • Rigid Traverse Beam with high precision linear bearings for smooth, stable high speed operation
