ITW Series robots have telescoping arms, and can be mounted on 50-850 tons with vertical stroke requirements of 700 to 1700 mm. Traverse stroke ranges between 1200 and 2000 mm, and payload ranges between 10 and 27 lbs.

InSol, Incorporated Expands Line of Robots

Greenville, SC: Responding to the needs of plastic processors for lower cost robotics InSol, Incorporated of Shelbyville, Kentucky has introduced the IT/ITW Series of robots. InSol is represented in the southeast by Louis P. Batson Incorporated.

This series is focused on molding processors having small to mid-sized injection molding machines. The IT Series has models that can be mounted on injection molding machines from 50-550 tons with vertical stroke requirements of 650 mm to 1000 mm. The traverse stroke ranges between 1200 mm and 1500 mm. Payload ranges between 10 and 20 pounds. The ITW Series has telescoping arms. These models can be mounted on 50-850 tons with vertical stroke requirements of 700 mm to 1700 mm. The traverse stroke ranges between 1200 mm and 2000 mm. Payload ranges between 10 and 27 pounds.

Features of the IT and ITW Series include reliable day-to-day operations, advanced electronic technology with servo control, user-friendly design with teaching and memory function, central production management system and color LCD touch screen with portable palm controller.

These robots are easy to operate, have instructional help for errors and direct read-out of production management information.
