March 11, 2005 - Model A1600 is capable of palletizing 60 lb bags of cement products at rate of 24 bags/min. Robot stacks bags of various sizes and types, including paper, poly, and woven-poly without need to change tooling. It can handle products from up to 4 low speed production lines.

High Speed Robotic Palletizer
Columbia/Okura's A1600 robotic palletizer is capable of palletizing 60 lb. bags of cement products at a rate of 24 bags per minute. The robotic can stack bags of various sizes and types, including paper, poly and woven-poly, without the need to change tooling. Providing a reliable and cost effective method of stacking cement bags, the robot features product handling from as many as four lower speed production lines while utilizing very little floor space.
The small footprint and flexible layout of the robot allows it to fit in very tight spaces, but is also capable of expanding with future production growth. The A1600 also contains fewer moving parts, requiring less maintenance and fewer spare parts to keep on hand.
