May 23, 2006 - Models 15349 and 15964 are suited for international as well as domestic, commercial and industrial applications. Certified to UL 1585 as inherently limited transformer, model 15349 has input of 200/230 V @ 50/60 Hz, 24 V output, and capacity of 75 VA. UL-listed as industrial control transformer, Model 15964 has input of 120/240 V @ 50/60 Hz, output of 24 VCT, and capacity of 192 VA. Each size/model includes UL-Recognized Class 130 (B) insulation.

New Transformers from Foster are Certified to EN 61558-1 and RoHS Compliant


Cincinnati, OH - Foster Transformer introduces a pair of transformers which are certified to stringent EN 61558-1 specifications for Isolation Transformers. RoHS Compatible models 15349 and 15964 are suitable for international use as well as for domestic commercial and industrial applications. In addition to EN 6558-1 certification, model 15349 is certified to UL 1585 as an inherently limited transformer. This model accepts inputs of 200/230V at 50/60 Hz with 24 V output with a capacity of 75 VA. Model 15964 is also UL Listed as an Industrial Control Transformer, with input of 120/240 V at 50/60 Hz, and output of 24 VCT and a capacity of 192 VA. These new transformers are ideal for appliances, medical and dental equipment and others using halogen lights. These proven transformers can also be used on battery chargers, to power small motors, and in control applications where 12V and 24V are required.

Each size/model includes UL Recognized Class 130 (B) insulation. Versions with alternate primary voltages and VA ratings can be configured to meet specific customer requirements.
