September 17, 2010 - Schroff® brand MIDAS cabinets feature fully welded, heavy-gauge steel frame that enables mounting of equipment, cable management and active cooling products, as well as other accessories. Pre-configured models come in 6 standard sizes, from 23RU-48RU high x 600-700 mm wide x 800-1,000 mm deep. The 700 mm wide communication cabinets can accommodate 19 or 23 in. equipment and cables, and the 600 mm wide server configurations offer square-hole rack angles for 19 in. equipment.

Pentair Technical Products' Schroff ® brand MIDAS Cabinets Provide a Value-Based, RoHS Complaint, Reliable Solution for Protecting 19- or 23-inch Rack-Mount Equipment

Warwick, RI-Pentair Technical Products announces the newly redesigned Schroff® brand MIDAS cabinets. Housing a variety of 19- or 23-inch rack-mount equipment, MIDAS cabinets deliver high value and functionality. MIDAS cabinets feature a fully-welded, heavy-gauge steel frame, providing the ability to mount equipment, cable management, active cooling and other accessories. Pre-configured models are available in six standard sizes and engineered solutions are also available.

Models range in size from 23RU to 48RU (1200- to 2100-mm) high, 600- to 700-mm wide and 800- to 1000-mm deep. The 700-mm wide communication cabinets can accommodate either 19- or 23-inch equipment and cables, and can be easily changed in the field. The 600-mm wide server configurations offer square-hole rack angles for 19-inch rack-mount equipment. Cabinets without windows are UL 1863 rated to a loading capacity of 1000 lbs., with a 4X factor, and all MIDAS cabinets are RoHS compliant.
