Right Angle Relief Valves range from 5-6,000 psig.

Press Release Summary:

Series R6000 includes low-pressure models from 5-550 psig and high-pressure versions from 150-6,000 psig. Both feature raised seal lip that minimizes contact with seat, eliminating friction and preventing O-ring overstressing. Frictionless poppets ensure consistency of cracking and reseat pressures. High-pressure models are equipped with Delta stem seal, while low-pressure models have encapsulated seat seal. Orifice sizes include 0.082, 0.094, and 0.188 in.

Original Press Release:

Hoke R6000 Relief Valves Offer High Accuracy and Consistency of Cracking and Reseat Pressures

The R6000 Series right angle relief valves are now available from Hoke in low and high pressure models ranging from 5 to 6000 psig. This new valve line is specifically designed to provide highly accurate and repeatable cracking and reseat pressure performance. In addition, narrow cracking pressure ranges or even specific pressures can be factory pre-set according to customer requirements.

Low pressure valves covering 5-550 psig feature a raised seal lip that minimizes contact with the seat thereby eliminating friction and preventing O-ring overstressing. Frictionless poppets ensure the utmost in accuracy and consistency of cracking and reseat pressures. The encapsulated seat seal ensures minimal surface area contact, protecting the seat from damage due to contamination or particulate within the flow media. A selection of six spring pressure ranges provide for a highly-specific cracking set pressure.

High pressure models ranging from 150 to 6000 psig also incorporate a raised seal lip, which results in accurate and consistent cracking and reseat pressures. The balanced, frictionless poppet design ensures the predetermined cracking pressure remains constant regardless of back pressure. The Delta stem seal reduces the likelihood of stem leakage, extending the service life of the valve. Like the low pressure models, a wide variety of cracking pressure ranges is available.

R6000 relief valves are offered with multiple end connection types to provide versatility and are available with PED approvals and CE marked. Depending on the specific cracking pressure range desired, a wide range of seal materials are available including silicone, Viton®, neoprene, ethylene propylene, Kalrez®, and Buna-N. Orifice sizes are 0.082", 0.094" and 0.188"
