October 19, 2011 - With ray deviation of 90°, TECHSPEC® Broadband Anti-Reflection (BBAR) Coated Right Angle Prisms are suited for use with low-power laser sources. Products are most often used to bend image paths or redirect light at 90° angle but may also be used in combination for image and beam displacement applications. Featuring tight tolerances and precision N-BK7 substrate, prisms come in 5-50 mm sizes and with coatings for 425-675 nm, 400-870 nm, or 600-1,050 nm to meet specific application needs.

BBAR coating improves transmission efficiency

TECHSPEC Broadband Anti-Reflection (BBAR) Coated Right Angle Prisms feature tight tolerances and a precision N-BK7 substrate. When compared to uncoated or metalized right angle prisms, the BBAR coating greatly improves transmission efficiency. Multiple BBAR coatings are available, to provide a diverse range of customer solutions.

Use in combination for image/beam displacement

TECHSPEC Broadband Anti-Reflection (BBAR) Coated Right Angle Prisms are most often used to bend image paths or redirect light at a 90° degree angle. These prisms may also be used in combination for image and beam displacement applications. Broadband coatings allow for these prisms to be used in applications utilizing multiple low power laser sources.
