Bradley Introduces Anti-Ligature Series for Specialized Health Care Restroom Settings
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. - Bradley Corp., the leader in innovative and customized solutions for commercial washrooms, launches the first complete line of SafeCare Anti-Ligature products for restrooms in specialized care situations. SafeCare products minimize ligature points to help avert patient self-harm while creating a safe, secure and welcoming style for patients.
The SafeCare series, including handwashing fixtures, showers and washroom accessories, was designed by Bradley with input from behavioral health professionals to perfect the products' functionality, safety and style. While minimizing ligature points for patient safety, the look of the SafeCare series emulates the home-like atmosphere to promote feelings of well-being, familiarity and comfort.
SafeCare Products Blend Durability, Versatility and Style
Bradley's SafeCare (HSL1) Lavatory is made from resilient Terreon® solid surface material or Terreon®RE recycled solid surface material, depending on consumer preference. The HSL1 Lavatory minimizes ligature points, yet features infrared activation that uses only 0.5 GPM with an attractive contoured sprayhead faucet and basin. All plumbing is fully enclosed with a stainless steel trap cover.
Available in 24 colors, the solid surface material used for the lavatory - Terreon - is a beautiful, long-lasting material that gives the look and feel of the home bathroom. It is easy to maintain, and can be easily repaired or renewed. Terreon solid surface has chemical and stain resistance and is non-porous, therefore resisting bacterial growth.
TerreonRE, another product material alternative for the SafeCare Lavatory, is a newer material composed of bio-based resin and pre-consumer recycled granules and contains 25% pre-consumer recycled content and 8% rapidly renewable material. It carries all the same durability features as the original Terreon solid surface and is available in eight colors for the SafeCare lavatory.
In addition to the lavatory, wall showers and washroom accessories round out the product line.
SafeCare wall showers feature conical showerheads, contoured handles or hemispherical push buttons to minimize ligature points, while washroom accessory solutions feature a flush valve cover, mirror, grab bar, toilet tissue holder, soap dish, towel hook and shelf.
