MERRIMACK, NH - Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics announces the introduction of a new patent-pending product line based on advanced coating technology. The CHEMFAB XPS line of coated fabrics utilizes a specialty formulated resin blend to provide the outstanding release properties and chemical resistance as our traditional CHEMFAB PTFE-coated fabrics, while significantly improving tear and crease resistance, flex fatigue resistance and conformability.
Developed by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics' industry leading R&D team, CHEMFAB XPS coated fabrics can be used in the same applications as our regular PTFE-coated fabrics with excellent results. Applications include release sheets and conveyor belting in textile, chemical and industrial processing, packaging, composite molding and numerous others.
