Used for door installations, Rip-A-Strips are pre-cut, punched on 2 in. centers, and stored on compact cores for dispensing. No tools are required, and pre-cut strips can be ripped off by hand. Rip-A-Strip makes strips as short as 1 ft or as long as 16 ft with widths from 4-16 in.

TMI Revolutionizes Strip Door Technology with Rip-A-Strip
TMI a world leader of flexible PVC products announces they have been awarded
patents this summer on two new products that will revolutionize the strip door industry. TMI is always striving to improve their product line and bring new products to the market. This has led to the development of the patented Save-T Loc hardware and Rip-A-Strip replacement strips. The Save-T Loc hardware reduces installation time as much as 75% over conventional hardware. The Rip-A-Strip product can save up to 35% in cost over conventional replacement strips with the added convenience of their compact design and ease of dispensing.
The Rip-A-Strip replacement strips adds saving and convenience to door installations. The strips are pre-cut, punched, and stored on a compact core for easy dispensing. No tools are required. The pre-cut strips can be "ripped" off by hand.
The Rip-A-Strip is processed on TMI's state-of-the-art high-tech machinery.
Strip specifications are programmed into the process control and selected material
is threaded. The entire roll passes and is cut 85% of the way through. Mounting
holes are punched on 2" centers at the appropriate ends of each processed strip.
Then the material is neatly rewound on a cardboard core at the other end. These
rolls are easier to ship, easier to store, and easier to dispense. Rip-A-Strip can
make a strip as short a 1 foot or as long as 16 feet. Strip widths can vary between
4 to 16 inches. Currently the machine is set to handle material thicknesses up
to ¼" thick on any of TMI's standard grade, low-temp, ribbed, anti-static, and
welding grade materials.
Rip-A-Strip is currently being offered in full material rolls only. This usually leaves a project with several neatly rolled replacement strips on hand.
Save-T Loc hardware can be substituted in the regular strip door kit at no extra charge. Save-T Loc hardware and Rip-A-Strip rolls can be ordered separately or together as the project demands. TMI Strip Doors ship within a week of order. Models that are in stock ship the same day.
