Replacement Photoionization Detector (PID) Lamps for Popular Brand Analytical and Monitoring Units

Andrews Glass Company produces high quality photoionization detector (PID) lamps for gas chromatographs used in laboratory analysis of samples for volatile organics (VOCs). These quality PID lamps are also ideal replacements in field units used to monitor air and soil, including air in confined spaces where personnel safety is an important consideration. A wide range of lamps for the most popular analytical and monitoring units, including SRI, Thermo, Photovac, OI Analytical, Varian, Perkin-Elmer, and Baseline Mocon, is available. Produced in a modern manufacturing facility, using proprietary technology, these lamps provide a highly sensitive, rapid measure of the presence of VOCs in any analyte or environmental air or soil sample.

The proprietary technique, acquired by Andrews from Scientific Services, Inc., was used to develop the first stable, dependable, long-lived glow discharge lamp functioning in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV). Andrews produces its PID products using state-of-the-art capabilities. The entire product line is supported by extensive resources, including: engineering support; craftsmen skilled in glass-to-glass and glass-to-metal sealing techniques; and an ISO9001 quality management system. This combination of proprietary technology and manufacturing capabilities ensures the quality of Andrews' photoionization detector (PID) lamps when used in original equipment or as replacements in the field.
