Commonly used for Ethernet connections, RAP10-1-45CS and RAP6-45CS Through Panel Remote Access Interface Connectors provide means for passing RJ45 connector equipped with cable to inside of panel or piece of equipment without shutting down or opening door of equipment. Units come with hinged dust cover and can be equipped with protection components such as fuses and circuit breakers. With dust cover closed and latched, interfaces have IP67 rating, providing water-tight seal.

New Modular Jack (RJ45) Remote Access Port

The modular jack, RJ45 connector Through Panel Remote Access Interface Connector provides a convenient means for passing a RJ45 connector equipped cable to the inside of a panel or piece of equipment without the need for shutting down or opening the door of the equipment.
The ASI modular jack RJ remote access port is available in RJ45 styles of modular jack connectors that are popular with networking, communication, and programming applications. The RAP10-1-45CS and RAP6-45CS are commonly used for ethernet connections. The RJ remote access port is part of an entire family of products that to have connectors and power outlets on the outside of the cabinet or panel, simplify network, data, and control signal connections to the inside and provide a means of connecting test equipment external to equipment cabinets and panels. The ASI through panel remote access interface connectors can also be equipped with protection components such as fuses and circuit breakers, designed with other connector types or equipped with devices such as CD Rom and Disk Drives.
ASI's Through Panel Remote Access Interface connectors come with a hinged dust cover that provides protection in industrial environments. With the dust cover closed and latched, the through connector interface has an IP67 rating thereby providing a water-tight seal.
