Lapp Systems Offers the Floppy Drive Remote Access Port
Lapp has modified the design of our 3 1/2" Floppy Disk Drive remote access port which allows the user to mount drives externally onto control equipment yet still have internal panel access for uploading and downloading data.
The newly designed enclosure accepts all front bezel type disk drives. The mounting bracket, now one piece instead of three, is made of a lighter weight aluminum without sacrificing durability. This new aesthetically pleasing assembly requires no special milling of the housing. Most standard disk drives, including USB and parallel port connections, are accommodated.
