January 5, 2009 - Suited for prototyping and repairs, Remachineable Shaft Collar Kits feature eight 1- or 2-piece fully assembled steel collars per kit, and each has pilot hole that can be machined by user to match their own bore requirements. Sizes range from 1 1/8 to 3 in. OD with 0.235 in. pilot hole for bore. Applications include building new machinery as well as maintenance for fabricating custom sizes to match worn or replacement shafts.

Remachineable Shaft Collar Kits Aid Product Development and Maintenance


Two new remachineable shaft collar kits that let users create custom bore sizes and shapes to match their own special requirements are being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford Remachineable Shaft Collar Kits feature eight sizes of either one- or two-piece fully assembled steel collars per kit and each has a pilot hole that can be machined by the user to match their own bore requirements. Eliminating the need for special ordering, these kits include sizes ranging from 1-1/8" to 3" O.D., each with a 0.235" pilot hole for the bore.

Ideally suited for prototyping and repairs, Stafford Remachineable Shaft Collar Kits provide users with a range of basic steel shaft collars which they can rebore and machine to whatever type of configuration they require. Applications include building new machinery as well as maintenance for fabricating custom sizes to match worn or replacement shafts.
