Color-Critical Condition: New AR111 Reflector Lamps Light Retail Right

CLEVELAND - GE Consumer & Industrial's new AR111 low-voltage halogen lamps emit bright, white halogen-quality light to highlight the softer side of displays and products in such settings as retail, art galleries, museums, commercial and high-end residential.

Developed for color-critical retail applications, these high-precision aluminum reflectors are made with UV-stop quartz to reduce the fading of products, while enhancing the overall color of goods with a high color temperature. The result is bright, even light with a tightly controlled beam and sharp cut-off to provide GE-quality light from great distances or up close.

"The GE AR111 aluminum facetted reflector provides great beam control and has been designed to direct light and heat forward to ensure full protection of the gear" says Jim Benson, incandescent-halogen product manager, GE Consumer & Industrial. "These lamps offer a slim shape to allow creative and compact design. They are a great choice for retail displays, exhibition halls, museums, and architectural applications."

AR111 lamps feature excellent control of the beam and sharp cut-off, as well as an ability to throw light great distances (delivering up to 40,000 CBCP). A G53 base offers the convenience of push-in or screw terminal. A direct retrofit for PAR36 lamps in shielded fixtures, GE's AR111 lamps offer versatility in a range of applications, including down, track or accent lighting.

Available in both spot and flood versions, and featuring a rated life of up to 3000 hours, GE's AR111 lamps come in a variety of wattages to meet the demands of virtually any application:
  • 35-watt, 12-volt 8-degree spot at 2800 degrees Kelvin; 35-watt, 12-volt 24-degree flood at 2800 degrees Kelvin; 50-watt, 12-volt 8-degree spot at 2850 degrees Kelvin; 50-watt, 12-volt 24-degree flood at 2850 degrees Kelvin.
  • 75-watt, 12-volt 8-degree spot at 2900 degrees Kelvin; 75-watt, 12-volt 24-degree flood at 2900 degrees Kelvin; 75-watt, 12-volt 45-degree flood at 2900 degrees Kelvin.
  • 100-watt, 12-volt 8-degree spot at 2950 degrees Kelvin; 100-watt, 12-volt 24-degree degree at 2950 degrees Kelvin; 100-watt, 12-volt 45-degree flood at 2950 degrees Kelvin.
