March 3, 2003 - Series SMR high frequency, switch mode rectifiers are offered in 200 combinations of voltage and current. DC power levels range from 1–30 kW at voltages from 3–600 Vdc. All have digital front panels and controls. Rear-panel access is provided for remote control and user selectable analog programming. Each unit includes built-in protection against over voltage, over current, over temperature, brown out, turn-on surge limit and low start.

PEC Introduces High-Frequency Switch Mode Rectifiers to Lineup
(Gastonia, North Carolina) -- Process Electronics Corporation is expanding its product line with the introduction of a new category of power supplies. High-frequency switch mode rectifiers (SMR) provide high performance in compact, rack-mount enclosures.
SMRs are available in 200 standard combinations of voltage and current. DC power levels are available from 1 kilowatt to 30 kilowatts at voltages from 3VDC to 600VDC. Transient response is fast: a 30% current step load will recover within ±2% of set voltage within 10 msec.
All models have digital front panels and controls for output voltage and current. Rear-panel access is provided for remote control and user selectable analog programming.
Every SMR comes with built-in protection against over voltage, over current, over temperature, brown out, turn-on surge limit and slow start. SMR products are warranted.
