A highly efficient real-time IP camera recording and alarm transmission solution, the new Vista SmartDisc IP provides an ideal solution for remote monitoring applications.
Capable of handling multiple IP streams and the connection of standard or megapixel IP cameras from a variety of manufacturers, SmartDisc IP's functionality is based on the popular SmartDisc DVR, and operates on the same Smart Control software.
Using Vista's unique HTcompress, a highly-efficient compression algorithm, live images are efficiently compressed and transmitted, making maximum use of available hard drive storage and requiring less bandwidth to transmit images. This feature makes SmartDisc IP an excellent choice for use within central stations, RVRs, ARCs, and multi and remote-site installations.
Advanced systems integration is possible via the use of Vista SmartControl and EMS software, whilst a removable SATA hard drive allows users to simply swap the HDD, allowing recorded information to be reviewed in privacy or stored for evidential purposes.
