Designed to clean and remove spatter from MIG welding nozzle, TOUGH GUN® Reamer features internally mounted valves and seals around points of entry to protect against contaminants. It includes sealed external setup switches that allow for independent operation of sprayer and spindle, electrically operated check valve, quick-disconnect wiring, and quick-change base plate. System also has 4-sided V-block that is compatible with multiple nozzle sizes.

WINDSOR, Ontario, Canada. December 10, 2007 - To lower the overall expense of automated MIG welding, Tregaskiss offers the next generation TOUGH GUN® Reamers (http://www.tregaskiss.com/reamer2008) featuring longer-lasting, maintenance-friendly technology. The reamer quickly cleans and removes spatter from the MIG welding nozzle to ensure long consumable life, good gas coverage and reliable arc starts.
New features include durable, internally mounted valves and seals around points of entry to protect against contaminants that could lead to costly replacements or repairs. External setup switches are also sealed and allow for independent operation of the sprayer and spindle to expedite manual setup of the reamer. The check valve on the sprayer is now electrically operated to ensure more consistent performance
To expedite routine maintenance and lower downtime costs, Tregaskiss has also incorporated a hinged access door that allows internal components to be reached without tools. The addition of quick-disconnect wiring allows replacement of worn valves without rewiring. A quick-change base plate allows the reamer to be removed and replaced quickly and accurately.
Other new features include a four-sided V-block that is compatible with multiple nozzle sizes and a series of switches that provide for faster and more accurate set-up.
