Utilizing 1.66 GHz Intel® Atom(TM) D510 processor with Intel® ICH8M PCH chipset, 1U Model NA-320R uses Intel® Hyper-threading Technology to advance CPU performance. Unit provides one DDR2 667 SO-DIMM up to 2 GB, six 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, and LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. Available with optional Mini Card slot for WiFi wireless card installation, appliance supports two 2.5 in. SATA2 HDD or one 3.5 in. SATA2 HDD and 1 CompactFlash(TM) slot for Type I/II CF cards.

Taipei, Taiwan, - Axiomtek announces its newly released 1U rackmount network appliance platform with 6 LANs for small to medium businesses, NA-320R. It utilizes low power Intel® Atom(TM) D510 processor at 1.66 GHz with Intel® ICH8M PCH chipset and one high bandwidth DDR2 667 SO-DIMM maximum up to 2 GB. The platform uses today's Intel® Hyper-threading Technology to advance CPU performance and throughout. To prevent problems from sudden shutdown, this 1U system supports a LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. Equipped with Mini Card expansion slot (optional), the NA-320R can be applied for extended networking application. Axiomtek's NA-320R is a perfect solution for network applications in VPN, firewall, UTM and other network security applications.

High Port Density & LAN Bypass
This 1U rackmount unit offers six high-speed Gigabit network connections using Intel® 82583V (default) and Intel® 82574L (optional) LAN chips. It also supports one group of LAN bypass function via WDT and GPIO pin definitions to prevent problems from platform shutdown. Intel® Hyper-threading Technology enables multiple threads to run on each core to increase processor throughput and performance.
Great Expansion & Storage Capability
NA-320R comes with an optional Mini Card slot for WiFi wireless card installation. It supports two 2.5" SATA2 HDD or one 3.5" SATA2 HDD (optional) and one CompactFlash(TM) slot for type I/II CF cards for solid state disk system.
More Features
There are six Gigabit LANs, two USB 2.0 ports and one RJ-45 console port on the front panel. For easy maintenance, the front-side LED indicators are available for system, power and HDD activities monitoring. It also supports mainstream Linux Redhat Kernel 2.6 operating system.
