It supports the Intel® Core(TM) 2 Quad processor and provides processing scalability with support for Pentium Dual Core and Celeron D also provided.
The Intel Core 2 Quad Processor is designed to handle intense compute and visualization workloads for highly threaded applications. The PL-80140 couples the Intel® Core(TM) 2 Quad processor and a 1333MHz Front Side Bus. The unit is designed with Intel® Embedded IA components warranteed for longevity to provide long product life. A high bandwidth dual channel DDRII DIMM socket supports 800/667 memory with up to 4GB. The unit is available with six Gigabit Ethernet ports through PCI-E x1 interface and offers four ports of optional bypass function.
