Requiring 1U rack space, Rack Mounted Servers are available with GM45 or 945GME chipsets equipped with Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo processors up to 3.06 GHz, or low power 1.6 GHz Atom N270 Series designed with integrated SBC. Industrial-grade units feature all steel chassis, AC input with built-in power supply, and front-side DVD/CD-Rom for transferring and installing applications. Standard rear I/Os include VGA, USB, RS-232, RJ-45, and 3.5 mm audio.

AIS Releases Space Saving 1U Rack Server Computers Featuring Intel Core 2 Quad, Duo, and Atom Processors
Irvine, CA - American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), releases a compact Rack Mounted Server line featuring the latest Intel Processor. The compact industrial grade rack mounted chassis displaces only 1U (1.75" height) of space in standard server racks. System options include GM45 or 945GME chipsets equipped with Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo high performance processors, or low power consumption Atom N270 Series Platforms designed with a highly integrated single board computer. AIS Rack Servers meet a wide range of requirements including performance intensive, space saving, and low power consumption embedded application.
The robust server chassis features all steel construction designed to be to easily deployed into standard server racks. The space saving design features AC input with a built-in power supply powering three available systems. Standard rear I/O's include VGA, USB, RS-232, gigabit LAN RJ-45, and 3.5mm audio. A Front-side DVD/CD-Rom is included for easy access for transferring and installing applications. AIS' rack mounted server computers are fully customizable in 3 available base system platforms; scaling to meet many applications including, communication, satellite, storage, and monitoring server systems.
