Monarch® 9855(TM) prints and encodes RFID Smart Labels, tracking and moving merchandise through supply chain. Product automatically writes to RFID chips embedded in thermal transfer bar code labels, tests chip, then prints human-readable and bar code data at up to 12 ips. Printer also verifies all RFID data and overstrikes bad labels to indicate if RFID data cannot be encoded. Utilizing RFID antenna for programming chips, design allows printer to encode labels as small as 1 in. long.

Paragon's Monarch 9855 automatically writes to RFID chips embedded in thermal transfer bar code labels. The printer tests the chip, writes to the chip, then prints the human readable and bar code data. Additionally, the printer verifies all RFID data and overstrikes bad labels to immediately alert the user if the RFID data cannot be encoded. The Monarch 9855 also offers full bar code print capability on RFID labels and 150 MHz processor and print speeds up to 12 IPS.
A patented RFID antenna used for programming the chips makes the Monarch 9855 unique and superior to all other RFID label printers. This distinctive design allows the printer to encode labels as small as one inch long, compared to alternative printers which have never been able to work with smart labels of this size. Smaller labels provide more productive labeling at a lower cost.
