Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has announced the release of its 13.56MHz RFID reader/writer compact flash device designed to read and write Mifare 1 tags. This high frequency RFID reader can be used for numerous close proximity applications including logistics, guard patrol tour, time and attendance tracking, ticketing and access control. The small form factor allows it to be also used in mobile devices to read tags deployed in numerous locations.
The 13.56MHz flash RFID reader, model 223001, features a built-in, omni-directional antenna with a maximum read distance of 3cm and provides a baud rate of 19200bps. The low-power RFID reader/writer is powered via the CF connector. The HF flash RFID reader/writer is compliant with ISO 14443A standard and has CE and FCC technical certifications
