September 14, 2004 - Handheld Model MSI-9750A can log up to 32 different networks, allowing it to serve multiple CellScales with one-button network and/or channel changes. Inter-Network Radio Messaging allows unit to receive and transmit RF messages from internal communications port, to and from process controller. Indicator can also initiate and manage data acquisition, data logging with interactive bar-code data transfer, and complete display of multiple sensors/scales.

New Handheld, RF Remote Indicator

Measurement Systems International is pleased to announce the next generation of CellScale, RF remote indicators with the introduction of the MSI-9750A. The new handheld, RF remote features an enhanced transmissive LCD display and electronics for improved processing and ease of use. All CellScale features are supported allowing the MSI-9750A to function as a full-featured portable terminal.

Each MSI-9750A can log on to 32 different networks allowing it to serve multiple CellScales with easy one-button network and/or channel (sensor/scale) changes. Inter-Network Radio Messaging allows the MSI-9750A to receive and transmit RF messages from its internal communications port to/from your process controller. Enhanced data acquisition, sophisticated data logging with interactive bar code data transfer, and complete display of multiple sensors/scales can be initiated and managed with the MSI-975OA.

Operation is simple with the alphanumeric keypad that features 7 control and 6 user programmable keys. Powered by a 6 cell NiMH battery pack, the MSI-9750A includes a built in charger board that can recharge the internal battery in 2 hours or less with the universal AC adapter.
