Used in aggressive environments such as ticketing machines, vending machines, and access control panels, R Series offers flush mounting and stainless steel construction that lend to vandal resistance and cleanability. Design meets IP65 standards and has rated mechanical service life of 1,000,000 operations. Available in 16 and 19 mm varieties, pushbuttons feature round actuator with momentary switching action. LED illumination (halo ring or central dot) is offered for 19 mm versions.

EAO Introduces New Vandal-Resistant Pushbuttons
Milford, CT - EAO Switch Corporation of Milford, CT USA, a premier global supplier of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems and Components, introduces its R Series pushbuttons, a new selection of products that improve the design and durability of control panels. Flush mounting and metal construction make this series vandal-resistant and also easy to clean.
R Series pushbuttons are made of durable stainless steel for use in aggressive environments, such as ticketing machines, vending machines, and access control panels. These pushbuttons meet IP65 international standard for outside use, and offer a mechanical service life of 1,000,000 operations within an operating temperature of -20°C to +70°C.
The R Series is available in 16mm and 19mm varieties. The 19mm pushbuttons incorporate LED illumination as either a halo ring or central dot. The halo effect creates a contemporary look that also serves to focus the user's attention on the button's function. Available LED colors include red, green, yellow, orange, blue, and white.
The R Series pushbutton features a round actuator with a momentary switching action. It mounts flush to the panel and connects with soldering plug-in terminals, offering a long electrical and mechanical life.
