October 26, 2011 - Able to be configured for 3-phase synchronization, PRP-3000 Series includes versions that meet industrial (EN60950) or rail (EN50155) standards. Standard inputs of 24, 36, 48, 72, and 110 Vdc are inverted to adjustable 120 Vac or 230 Vac outputs, regulated to 4% or better. Operating from -25 to +70°C, series delivers efficiency ratings from 88%-91% and allows status and programming control via RS232 interface. Overload protection, remote inhibit, and remote off are standard.

Schaefer Announces High Density 3000W DC/AC Inverter


Ideal for Rail, Military, and Industrial Applications

Ashland, MA - Schaefer announces the PRP-3000 Series of highly efficient, pure sine wave inverters that provide up to 3000VA of power. The PRP-3000 Series has versions that meet industrial (EN60950) or rail (EN50155) standards.

Standard input voltages of 24VDC, 36VDC, 48VDC, 72VDC, and 110VDC are inverted to adjustable 120VAC or 230VAC outputs that are regulated to 4% or better. Units can be configured for three phase synchronization.

All models in the PRP-3000 Series feature overload protection and an LED indicator for output OK or alarm conditions. A wide operating temperature of -25C to +70C allows for installations in extreme conditions and meets EN50155 Class 3. Remote inhibit and remote off are standard in the PRP-3000 design. Units are highly efficient, with ratings ranging from 88% to 91%. Emissions to EN61000-6-4 and EN60121-3-2 meets both industrial and rail standards and minimizes interference to other sensitive equipment. Status and programming is controlled through the RS232 interface.

Schaefer's full family of pure sine wave inverters also includes other stand-alone modules starting at 250W of power, and higher power rack designs up to 5000W that include a UPS.

Modifications to standard units are available. In addition, Schaefer can design and manufacture fully custom solutions. PRP-3000 Series pricing is from $2040.00 at 100 pieces, with significant OEM quantity discounts.
