DCM Tech Introduces their NEW PDG Punch and Die Grinder

Rotary Table Surface Grinder

American made manufacturer of Industrial Surface Grinders, blanchard grinder style Rotary Table Surface Grinders, Reciprocating Table Surface Grinders, Punch and Die Grinders, Meat Plate Grinders, Tool Room Grinders, Aircraft Brake Rotor Grinders, and Surface Grinders for Optical Fabrication

DCM Tech, Corp. located in Winona, MN, a designer and manufacturer of blanchard grinder style Rotary Table Surface Grinders for over twenty years, now offers their NEW Model PDG, Punch and Die Grinder, for resurfacing turret press tooling. Standard center mounted rotary fixturing holds punches and dies up to 6" in diameter with fixture enhancements available to sharpen dies up to 8". The punch fixturing allows sharpening of straight as well as shear angle punches with up to 10 degrees pitch. The 5 hp vertical spindle motor has power necessary to rapidly process large diameter dies and features through spindle and external coolant flow to keep parts cool. The specially compounded CBN superabrasive grinding wheel is free cutting even on the toughest of materials without special dressing. Hundreds of parts can be processed, making the DCM superabrasive wheel efficient and economical.

The PDG Punch and Die Grinder is easy to use: the operator installs the tool in the rotary fixture, positions the grinding wheel in proximity to the tool using the "Tool Finder" indicator, sets the desired stock removal and starts the autofeed grinding cycle. The PDG autofeed features allows the operator to perform other work duties. The compact footprint of 42" x 48" and semi-automatic operation make this punch and die grinder an ideal addition to any turret press manufacturing cell, allowing a press operator to both utilize and maintain tooling.
