May 23, 2005 - Medium-duty Model JC features extra thick wet end components, heavy-duty power end, and replaceable wear liner. Impeller design allows for external impeller clearance adjustment. Available in 15 sizes, Model JC offers capacities to 7,000 gpm, heads to 240 ft, temperatures to 250°F, and pressures to 127 psig. Unit handles spherical solids to 2.25 in. Applications include sludge, clay, sand, and carbon slurries; wet scrubber systems; and paper mill wastes.

Highly Versatile Goulds Model JC Handles a Wide Range of Corrosive and Abrasive Slurries

Seneca Falls, New York, USA — Goulds Pumps, one of the fluid brands of ITT Industries, is offering the Model JC, a medium-duty slurry pump for handling a multitude of industrial and wastewater applications including waste sludge, clay and sand slurries, carbon slurries, wet scrubber systems, lime mud, paper mill wastes and other abrasive and / or corrosive services where process pumps arent up to the task.

The JC is designed with service life enhancing features such as extra thick wet end components for extended wear life, a heavy duty power end, and a replaceable wear liner which reduces maintenance costs. The impeller design allows for external impeller clearance adjustment, which maintains maximum efficiency. The line features maximum parts interchangeability with just five power ends used for all models. There is a sealing choice of packing, mechanical or dynamic seals. Fifteen sizes with a wide range of materials and configurations are available. The JC offers capacities to 7,000 GPM (1,600m³/h), heads to 240 feet (73 m), temperatures to 250° F (120°C), pressures to 127 PSIG (876 kPa) and handles spherical solids to 2.25 inches (57 mm).
